The Spatial Intelligence Lab is looking for passionate undergraduate research interns in AI, computer vision, and robotics. No prior research experience is required.
Who can apply
- Undergraduates in computer science, AI, electrical engineering, math/physics, or related majors
- No research experience needed — passion for AI/ML/CV/Robotics is what matters
- Experience with Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow is a plus
Example research topics
- Computer Vision & Visual Geometry — camera pose, image matching, and 3D reconstruction
- 3D Visual Foundation Models — recovering 3D space from a handful of photos in one shot
- Multi-Modal Large Language Models — models that understand images, audio, and 3D together
- Geometric Representation Learning — representations robust to viewpoint and rotation changes
- Generative 3D Foundation Models — adding 3D geometry to generative image/video AI
- Robotics & Embodied AI — robots that understand language and imagine the world ahead
- AI+X Applications — AR/VR, autonomous driving, medical imaging, forecasting, animal behavior
What you get
Projects aim at international conference papers or workshop/challenge participation (Kaggle, CVPR/ICCV/ECCV/NeurIPS workshops) — not simple coursework, but challenging and rewarding research connected to the global community.
