Dr. Jongmin Lee joins Chung-Ang University and founds the Spatial Intelligence Lab

Dr. Jongmin Lee joined Chung-Ang University (CAU) as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in the Fall semester of 2025, founding the Spatial Intelligence Lab.

Research and Career

Dr. Lee's research has centered on computer vision and machine learning, with particular emphasis on visual geometry, spatial reasoning, and large-scale vision-language models. He has conducted research at Meta (Reality Labs) and LG AI Research, contributing to projects at the intersection of fundamental research and real-world AI applications.
