Dr. Lee joins Chung-Ang University (CAU) at Fall semester 2025

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Jongmin Lee will join Chung-Ang University (CAU) as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering starting from the Fall semester of 2025.

Academic Background

  • Ph.D. in Engineering, Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH)
  • Specialization: Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Visual Geometry

Research and Career

Dr. Lee’s research has centered on computer vision and machine learning, with particular emphasis on visual geometry, spatial reasoning, and large-scale vision–language models.
He has conducted research at Meta (Reality Labs) and LG AI Research, contributing to projects at the intersection of fundamental research and real-world AI applications.

His ongoing research agenda includes:

  • Robust geometric methods for computer vision
  • Learning-based approaches for 3D perception
  • Integration of vision and language for multi-modal AI systems

Teaching at CAU

From Fall 2025, Dr. Lee will offer the following courses at CAU:

  • Machine Learning Project
  • Automata and Formal Languages
  • Deep Learning

Opportunities for Students

Dr. Lee is actively looking for motivated students (undergraduate interns, master’s, and Ph.D. students) who are eager to work on cutting-edge problems in computer vision and machine learning. Students will have opportunities to engage in both theoretical research and practical projects, collaborating with global research communities.

If you are interested in joining his group, please reach out by email.
